Roasting Frozen Vegetables
Believe it or not, it’s incredibly easy to roast perfectly cooked, golden-brown vegetables that are frozen. Roasting frozen vegetables is a great way to get a delicious side dish on the table quickly and with minimal prep work! Here are the steps to roast frozen vegetables and make a surprisingly tasty meal.
Ingredients
Before you get started, you’ll need the following:
- Frozen vegetables of your choice
- Salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings
- Olive oil
Steps to Roasting Frozen Vegetables
- Preheat the oven. Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees.
- Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet. Take the frozen vegetables and spread them evenly on a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Try to leave as much space between each vegetable as possible to ensure even roasting.
- Toss with olive oil. Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over the vegetables. Then, use your hands to make sure each vegetable is lightly coated with oil.
- Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the vegetables with salt and pepper (and any other desired seasonings) to your taste.
- Roast. Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and let the vegetables roast for about 20 minutes. Then, remove the baking sheet and use a spatula to toss the vegetables. Put the baking sheet back in the oven and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Enjoy! Once the vegetables are golden-brown and nicely roasted, it’s time to enjoy.
That’s it! Roasting frozen vegetables is really that easy. Whether you’re looking for a quick side dish or need to spice up your weeknight dinner, roasted frozen vegetables are always a hit. Enjoy!
