Is Vegeta’s Brother Canon?
The answer to this question lies within the Dragon Ball franchise. Vegeta’s brother, Tarble, was mentioned briefly in a manga in May 2010. However, he never made an appearance in the anime.
The Manga Appearance
Tarble was only briefly mentioned in the manga where Vegeta revealed he had a brother and his name was Tarble. This came as a surprise to fans of the series who never knew Vegeta had a brother.
It was later revealed in the manga that Tarble’s wife had power and was actually stronger than he was, something that Vegeta could not handle. This made him very angry and he sent Tarble away from their home planet, putting a strain on their relationship.
Tarble in Other Media
Tarble eventually made his way to Earth and found refuge there. He made a few appearances in spinoff games and media such as video games and the Dragon Ball Online MMORPG, however, he never showed up in the anime.
Is Tarble Canon?
There is a lot of debate over whether or not Tarble is considered canon in the Dragon Ball franchise. Some fans argue that since he was mentioned in the manga, he is considered canon while others argue that since he never appeared in the anime, he is not considered canon.
Ultimately, it is up to the individual viewer to decide whether or not Tarble is canon in the Dragon Ball franchise. However, it is clear that he was mentioned in the manga and has made appearances in other media, making it safe to say that Tarble is canon.
Whether or not it matters is up to you, but Tarble is definitely part of the Dragon Ball franchise.
