The Name
Vegeta’s choice for Bulla’s name was, Eschalot.

- Alot: derived from “all-a-lot”, a reference to Vegeta’s longing for omnipotence
It would have been a fitting name for Vegeta’s daughter, as part of her Saiyan heritage and her father’s quest for power.
Change of Heart
Unfortunately, Bulma was not fond of the choice and decided to name their daughter Bulla instead. Vegeta was receptive to this idea, as Bulla was the nickname he and Bulma used for her during her pregnancy.
In the end, the name Vegeta had chosen for his daughter was replaced by Bulla. The name Bulla holds a special meaning for Vegeta and Bulma, thus making it a fitting name for their daughter.
